trades pay a fee, a slice of the fee lands in the goal wallet, the bar moves, the target is cumulative.
every trade on pump.fun pays 1.25%, on the curve and after graduation to pumpswap. 0.95% stays with pump.fun and 0.30% is the coin's creator stream.
on a new coin pump.fun's fee sharing program locks one shareholder, written once at launch and locked forever: the coin's goal wallet, at 100% of the creator stream. that is 0.30% of every trade into the goal wallet and 0.95% to pump.fun. the creator earns no trading fees and irl takes no share. coins launched before this keep the split they locked: 0.24% of every trade to the goal at the old default, the creator's share, 10% of the stream to irl.
so the goal fills at 0.30% of volume: a 100 sol target needs about 33,300 sol traded. the create page shows the volume needed for the target you pick.
fees wait on pump.fun until someone distributes them. distribution is permissionless; our cron sweeps and distributes each coin's fees to its shareholders, on the curve and after graduation. the bar reads the goal wallet only.
anyone can also send sol straight to the goal wallet. it counts 100% toward the target. it skips the wait.
the target is cumulative: the goal is funded when everything the goal wallet ever received, read from the chain, is at least the target. a release never un-funds it. when the target is reached the time is recorded, and goal sol can be released to the custodian after 48 hours. after that, the stream keeps filling the goal wallet as upkeep.
